Welcome to my Web Pages. I live in the Portsmouth area, overlooking the top of the harbour and Portchester Castle, a favourite subject for artists.

I retired early from Teaching to devote  more time to my hobby of Painting.  I exhibit year round in local exhibitions and some work can currently be seen in Westlands Medical Centre in Portchester.

In August 2000, I took part in the Channel 4 programme "Watercolour Challenge" which was filmed in  the New Forest.  The finished painting was exhibited in the Mall Galleries in London and bought by  a resident of Lyndhurst.

This Summer, I will be welcoming visitors to my Studio as part of the Hampshire Open Studios 2009 programme.  I will be at home from Sunday August 16th. to August 21st. and from Monday August 24th. to 27th. between 11 am. and 6 pm. each day.  Pick up a brochure at your local Library or Tourist Information Centre or e-mail me for directions.

I am pleased to accept commissions or to hire out my paintings to commercial premises.I give occasional workshops to help beginners in painting.
